These are patterns, not a finished cowl, beanie, or headband!

Inspired by the Rocky Mountains, the Peak to Peak Cowl, Beanie, and Headband features mountain ridges created by purl stitches and "snowballs" from simple wrapped bobbles.

These patterns use super bulky yarn and have two options: one-color and two-color. While both feature knits, purls, simple wrapped bobbles, and mock cables, the one-color option is the easier of the two. The two-color option requires colorwork, catching your floats, and good tension.

For the beanie, both options come in two sizes: teen/small adult (large adult). Head sizes vary greatly, measure the hat recipient's head and choose size by circumference rather than age. Teen/small adult (approx head circumference 20-22") and large adult (approx head circumference 22"+).

For the headband, both options come in three sizes: under 10 child (10 years+/ small adult, large adult). Head sizes vary greatly, measure the headband recipient’s head and choose size by circumference rather than age. Child (approx head circumference 18-20”), teen/small adult (approx head circumference 20-22”) and large adult (approx head circumference 22”+).

The cowl comes in one standard size.
